ELITIN is an art-forward indie duo shaped by a deep commitment to introspection, sonic richness, and emotional clarity. At its core, ELITIN is about building musical worlds—layered, expansive, and meticulously crafted. Their forthcoming full-length album (Through the Fabric), the result of three years of focused writing and refinement, serves as the project’s foundation: a body of work that leans into ambient textures, detailed production, and lyrical vulnerability. It’s patient, immersive music that invites repeated listening and rewards close attention. Through the Fabric was recorded in Cleveland, OH and Los Angeles, CA; mixed and mastered by D. James Goodwin at The Isokon in Timberville, VA.
While the full-length defines the duo’s artistic center, their EP “Ashwire” reveals another side of the project—immediate, instinctual, and purposefully unpolished. Written, recorded, produced, and mixed in just five days, Ashwire captures what happens when process is condensed and overthinking is stripped away. It’s not a departure, but a companion: a way to explore the same voice through a different lens. Ashwire was recorded in a cabin in the woods; mixed and mastered by Nate Saggio.
Whether through long-form refinement or spontaneous creation, ELITIN continues to evolve without losing its focus: to make music that feels lived-in, emotionally resonant, and sonically expansive.
